Frequently Asked Questions
Prior to your initial session, you’ll be asked to fill out a questionnaire so we can keep formalities out of the way and pack as much good information into our session for you as possible. We will go over your current concerns and set goals to help improve your dietary habits. I’ll answer any questions you might have, and we will be well on our way to a healthier you.
I respond to all emails within 24 hours, and often sooner.
I do not take insurance. If you are one of the unique cases where insurance does provide a benefit for nutrition counseling, I will provide you with a coded receipt for reimbursement through your insurance provider. Please check with them first to make sure the service is not only covered, but that you go through the proper channels required by your plan (doctor referral, underlying condition, etc.).
A la carte options are for clients who have already underwent an initial assessment. They don’t serve new clients well, simply because I can’t be very effective in that amount of time unless I am already familiar with your background.
I am typically able to schedule you within 2 weeks.
Life happens. I understand. If you miss an appointment, we will reschedule once for free. If you miss the second session as well, I will refund 80% of your session fee and cancel the session in order to serve as many people as possible.
